Back to the present, Ranveer explains to RD that Sonia's body is in mortuary in the hospital, and he tells to RD that he will not bury Sonia until he bankrupt Armaan. Ranveer chase the assassin kill him by burning his car with cigarette lighter inside the car. On the way, Ranveer says to Sonia that before going to Bangkok, he want to transfer some savings from bank, when Ranveer go to bank by saying Sonia to sit inside the car, Armaan's assassin killed Sonia by shooting the car's fuel tank. Ranveer explains a flashback to RD that when Ranveer and Sonia was in Cyprus, Sonia's sister Tanya calls them to meet her in Bangkok. Ranveer then reveals that he is not planning to make Armaan rich but trying to bankrupt Armaan because Armaan and Thapar were responsible for Sonia's death. One day RD ask to Ranveer that why you are trying to make Armaan more rich. Ranvir sees a picture of his deceased and beloved wife Sonia ( Bipasha Basu) in Omisha's wallet, and he begins to woo her in order to gain her confidence. Aleena is revealed to be Armaan's 50% shareholder and constant partner in crime.Ī glamorous and stylish lady, Omisha ( Jacqueline Fernandez), is introduced as Armaan's girlfriend. Ranvir meets Armaan's step-sister Aleena ( Deepika Padukone) and develops a romantic affair with her. The two become friends and business partners. Ranvir gives Armaan ownership of Thapar's casinos in exchange for a 10% commission. The cheating is a plan that Ranvir made a week earlier with Armaan, who he met through Robert "RD" D'Costa ( Anil Kapoor) and his dim-witted and erotic assistant Cherry ( Ameesha Patel), a replacement to RD's equally dim-witted former assistant Mini, who he admits to having run away. Now, unable to return Armaan's money, Thapar is forced to give Armaan control of five casinos that he owns in Istanbul, Turkey. It is then revealed that Ranvir never stole the printing plates, and was badly cheating Thapar. Thapar agrees and borrows the €500 million from ex street-fighter and influential don Armaan Malik ( John Abraham).
He offers Thapar €1.5 billion in counterfeit currency in exchange for €500 million in real banknotes.
